The activities carried out on Finca 6 during 2010 were aimed to the exploratory evaluation of mound 2 and the evaluation of a zone with round-edge boulders in the vicinity of the mounds. The latter led to the finding of a funerary structure with great number of ceramic offerings in its upper part and external zone. Completion of the excavation was pending due to time reasons and the upwelling of groundwater. On the other hand, the proposed activities for the Batambal site were oriented to the horizontal excavation of the site’s south sector. The excavations enabled defining two rectangular structures and stratified deposits of ceramic and lithic materials.
